A Day in the Life
---------------------
Allnorth is seeking Permit Writers to join our team on an upcoming turnaround at our clients site located near Conklin, Alberta.
•Responsibilities Include: •
• Maintain a high standard of safety across all turnaround activities
• Oversee all field activities, including LOTO procedures and tie-ins
• Review LOTO and blinding plans/procedures
• Ensuring adherence to safe work practices while minimizing disruptions to live facilities.
• Assist in writing confined space plans
• Writing and issuing safety plans for high-risk work
• Atmospheric monitoring and testing
• Daily field auditing of personnel and equipment
As a successful applicant, you will be part of a professional team committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
What You'll Bring to the Team
---------------------------------
• Power Engineering Certification 4th or Higher
• Extensive Permitting Experience Required
• SAGD Facility Turnaround experience would be considered an asset.
• Strong background with process control and to be able to troubleshoot process problems or carryout complex system isolations with minimal assistance.
• Strong organizational skills, analytical thinker that can think outside the box when situations change or don't go as planned. As well someone who can remain calm when things don't go as planned can stop, think, regroup, and re-execute.
• Proven experience in industrial construction and commissioning work
• Ability to work away from home on a rotational basis (14 days on, 14 days off)
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance and protocols.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data analytics.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to the job site (where applicable)
