We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. This role involves educating young children, including those with disabilities, and providing high-quality caregiving that promotes their development and learning.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
Educate and support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
Monitor and assess each child's progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Provide care for children with varying needs, including those with disabilities.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes learning and exploration.
Experience
Proven experience in early childhood education or related fields is required.
Familiarity with working with children who have disabilities is highly desirable.
Strong caregiving skills that demonstrate compassion and patience in working with young children.
Ability to create engaging classroom activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
Experience in managing a classroom effectively while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Qualifications:
Valid ECE certificate to practice in BC
First Aid for child care
Criminal record check

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
