This role promotes fundamental improvements to quality management practices thereby enhancing overall quality performance. This position strives to uphold Nova Scotia Health\'s (NSH) Strategic Plan and operational goals. The position will work with the co-leadership and multidisciplinary teams to guide and implement process changes in support of quality and continuous quality improvement.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:

• Undergraduate degree in Health Care discipline
• Graduate degree in a health specific field and/or equivalent in education and experience
• Masters\' degree an asset
• Appropriate licensure/membership in professional organization
• Minimum five (5) years\' Perioperative experience or management experience in a Perioperative care setting
• Understands quality, quality systems, and innovations in quality and patient care
• Understands Perioperative procedures, complications and patient population
• Understands and has ability to apply and coach others in the application of continuous quality improvement
• Demonstrates a high degree of independent decision making, creativity, self-direction, motivation, change management and team building and leadership skills
• Understands and has ability to apply and coach others in the application of regulatory requirements
• Excellent project management and coaching skills, and ability to teach/transfer skills to all team members
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective presentation skills and group leadership skills
• Demonstrates abilities as a change agent, will be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization and contribute as a team member
• High analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Helps promote a respectful workplace environment
• Valid NS driver\'s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Competencies in other languages are an asset, French preferred

• Site/location will be based on where the successful candidate resides within the Western Zone, at SSRH, VRH or YRH
• This position requires regular travel to other sites, primary within the Western Zone
