Job Description

The Jewish Community Centre (JCC) of Greater Vancouver is seeking part-time instructors to lead and facilitate our afternoon/evening/weekend programs for children, youth, teens and adults. The role involves facilitating programs including: dance, theatre, music, etc.

Responsibilities include:Plan sessions for participants with guidance from the Manager of the Dena Wosk School of Performing Arts at the JCC. Identify required equipment and supplies. Set up / takedown program areas as required. Facilitate weekly group or individual sessions. Participate in JCC staff training as requested.

Qualifications:Experience working with children, youth, teens, adults as appropriate in a learning environment. Experience working in a professional environment. Enthusiastic, patient and positive attitude. First Aid Certification (preferred). Criminal record check is mandatory (JCC will facilitate).

Pay: $20-60 per hour depending on experience and workload.

Work Location: In person @ the JCCGV
Hours: As determined by classroom needs. (Popular hours are: 3pm-8pm M-Th, and Sunday).
