DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:





The People Services Associate will be responsible for supporting our Talent Acquisition team. Partnering with the Talent Acquisition Associate, the People Services Associate will coordinate and execute all administrative aspects of the recruitment process including the processing and data entry of transfers and new hires, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and assisting with recruitment activities. The People Services Associate is a key position within the Talent Acquisition Team supporting the coordination of recruitment activities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.



Employment Administration

Ensure all new hire documentation is received within required timelines Process employment related documentation, including but not limited to: new hires, transfers, promotions Accurate data entry in the HRIS system related to new hires, transfers and employment changes Liaise with Payroll & HRIS Teams regarding any data entry issues, and take appropriate steps to troubleshoot and resolve Perform salary calculations related to service and seniority Complete data entry for employee changes Other duties assigned by manager


Recruitment & Talent Administration

Prepare external job advertisements for all union and non-union positions including coordination of invoices Liaise with external job boards, advertising platforms, including outreach with community contacts to ensure optimal visibility Assist with pre-screening applicants as required Schedule, coordinating and confirming interviews, including balancing calendars for interview panels and booking meeting rooms Schedule and manage pre-employment testing Assist employees and external applicants with career site inquiries (eRecruit), including troubleshooting general inquiries and resetting career site passwords Participate in various recruitment related projects, events and activities as required


QUALIFICATIONS:





Post Secondary Education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field 1-3 years of relevant work experience, within a healthcare environment or human resources experience preferred Superior customer service and interpersonal skills Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Word and Excel Proven ability to function as a supportive team member Proven ability to adhere to a high standard of confidentiality Proven ability to work productively and independently with frequent interruptions Proven ability to assess inquiries and problems and to exercise good judgment in making the appropriate referrals Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven administrative skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines Demonstrated attention to detail and maintain data accuracy Must have a satisfactory performance record Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices, including staff safety, patient safety, environmental safety and participation in regular in-service education in this area
