People Mover (golf Cart Style)

Job Description

Western Fair Association is looking for responsible and courteous individuals to operate a golf cart-style people mover in the Paddock Tunnel during the 10-day Annual Western Fair. This role is essential in helping safely transport guests and staff through the tunnel area, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable fair experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a golf cart-style people mover through the Paddock Tunnel Provide assistance to passengers as they board and exit the vehicle Ensure safe driving practices at all times, particularly in high-traffic pedestrian areas Deliver friendly, helpful, and professional customer service Follow all Western Fair safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications & Skills:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Previous experience operating golf carts or similar vehicles (an asset) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Able to remain calm and courteous in a busy, public-facing environment
Working Conditions:

Must be able to work outdoors and in the tunnel, potentially in various weather conditions Able to sit for extended periods and assist with light lifting (up to 15 lbs) Must be available for the full fair duration, including evenings and weekends
