The People Experience Associate is responsible for completing various employee changes within our HR system, while enabling employees to utilize self-service functionalities.Accountabilities:Provide timely and accurate advice on general HR inquiries related to policies and processes and other general HR matters including benefits, payroll, vacation, Workday inquiries, etc.Support and train people leaders and employees with Workday navigation and processesManage paid and unpaid time off programs, including parental leave, supporting employees and people leaders through to return to work, offering guidance on accommodation and regular check ins with employees as neededSupport people leaders with employee movements such as reporting line changes, promotions, transfers and manage job and data changesProactively identify process improvements to provide an exceptional employee experienceMaintain accurate case management process, records, case notes and document all HR related inquiries and addressing by leveraging the appropriate information and dataCoach and enable employee needs and work towards a resolution and provide guidance on general HR mattersGuide employees in the effective use of self-service to submit inquiries, update personal data, and research HR policies and proceduresCollaborate with broader HR community in the delivery of shared initiatives as requiredSkills & Experience:2-3 years of generalist HR knowledge on policies and processesCompleted post-secondary education, preferably in HR or Business Administration, working towards completion of HR designation an assetStrong relationship management, effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills across all levels with commitment to providing exceptional customer serviceSound judgment and problem-solving skills while mitigating risk to the organizationStrong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple initiatives and deadlines while meeting service level agreementsAdaptable and ability to work in a new and changing environment and learn quicklyKnowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end processes; experience with transaction processing and data managementKnowledge of HR systems and ability to leverage basic technology functionality (e.g., case management, knowledge management).
