Tasks

As the

People Business Partner,

you will take on a diverse set of responsibilities, such as:

Serve as the key People Business partner for both Calgary and Montreal, ensuring consistent implementation of policies, programs, and employee relations practices Support regional growth Lead recruitment & development efforts Manage employee onboarding Implement programs and policies Partner with Health & Safety Guarantee that programs, policies, and communications comply with provincial legislation and that content is provided in French as required Foster a Unified Culture Boost Cultural Morale & Wellness Prepare and deliver presentations, communications, and workshops to support leadership teams, employee engagement, and program rollouts General HR support

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field; 5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience in a multi-site environment Bachelor's degree required At least 4 years of relevant professional senior HR Consultancy experience in Canada required Regional experience desired Experience in dealing with Senior Management on VP level and above required Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) required Strong understanding of Alberta and Quebec employment legislation, including compliance requirements Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Skype for Business as expert Willingness to travel (25% of the year) Must possess a valid driver's license Manage high stress levels Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
