Position Summary





The People & Culture Coordinator supports the growth, engagement, and well-being of employees across Caliber. This role ensures that HR administration, employee development, and culture-building initiatives are carried out with excellence. The Coordinator partners with managers and teams to foster a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and aligned with Caliber's mission and values.

Employee Development & Engagement



Manage records for employee education programs, apprenticeships, and certifications. Partner with accounting to apply for and track all available training and development grants. Support managers with Goal Setting & Review (GSR) and Temp Checks including regular audits and monitoring of scores. In collaboration with the marketing Manager, organize and manage company calendar and team-building events, employee recognition programs, and celebrations. Collaborate on initiatives such as Caliber Caresand other community involvement programs.

HR Administration



Maintain accurate employee records, including onboarding documentation and HR files. + Maintaining HRIS (Bamboo)
+ Maintain and update the HR manual and employee handbook.
Coordinate employee transitions between project sites and coordinate the required team DISC flexing training. Coordinate and Administer benefits and ensure employee data is current. Labour forecast and planning with DOC and departments. Assist with recruitment activities(Linkedin), including job postings, interview coordination, screenings and candidate communication. + Linkedin

Provide HR reporting and support compliance with labor laws and internal policies

Culture & Communications



Promote company values across teams and reinforce a positive workplace culture. Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures. Communicate updates and initiatives clearly across departments. Support leadership with surveys, feedback processes, and communication tools that strengthen alignment. Attend and engage with site/department huddles regularly. Caliber store with marketing .....

Health, Safety & Wellbeing



Support employee wellness initiatives and mental health awareness programs. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies in collaboration with Calibers Safety Manager. Track participation in safety training and assist with related documentation in collaboration with Calibers Safety Manager.

Qualifications




2+ years of HR, people operations, or office administration experience (construction industry experience an asset). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and general HR administration. High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. * A proactive, people-first mindset with a focus on service and culture-building.
