The Toronto Athletic Club Sport Medicine Clinic and Adelaide Clinic have an opening for a Canadian Certified Pedorthist to complement our multi-disciplinary teams located in the heart of the financial district. Our team of clinic services includes family physicians, psychotherapy, physiotherapy, athletic therapy, chiropractic, massage therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our patients range from the weekend warrior and amateur athletes to professional athletes from a wide range of sports.
Our clinics are located in two of the leading fitness facilities in Toronto, owned and operated by the Cambridge Group of Clubs (CGOC). The CGOC is a collection of 3 unique health and fitness clubs, serving an exclusive membership of leaders, executives and professionals in the downtown core. The Toronto Athletic Club, the Adelaide Club and the Cambridge Club, comprise the CGOC, and are all located within the downtown core. The membership capacity for the 3 clubs totals approximately 6,500 members. The Cambridge Group of Clubs is dedicated to perfecting the fitness, health and sports club experience through continuous innovation and the highest standards of service and knowledge. We offer modern and sophisticated surroundings, state-of-the-art equipment and an educated staff who provide a highly personalized service.
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Certified Pedorthist that is a team player, compassionate, active and enjoys working with a healthy and fit clientele.
Someone who practices and supports an integrated approach to health care within our multi-disciplinary teams will be positioned to build a very strong practice.
Immediate access to stream of patient referrals by joining the existing Pedorthic practice and eventually taking over the Pedorthic needs of the 30-year practice.
Will collaborate with physicians and other rehabilitation providers at both clinics as well as working with the teams of personal trainers and fitness staff at all 3 clubs.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Canadian Certified Pedorthist (experience working in foot clinics is an asset)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Works well in a team based and multidisciplinary environment
Experience fitting and casting custom orthotics with the ability to utilize a 3D scanning system with Sound Orthotics Lab
Having experience working with athletes as well as working with an active population is a must.
complete simple repairs to orthotics to ensure proper customized fit
An understanding of insurance plans
Responsibilities:
This position is for part time hours with flexible schedule options, starting at minimally 1-2 days per week, approximately 8-16 hours / week.
Practice building includes networking with the club's membership, actively participating in specific club and clinic events, and building their referral sources from outside the club.
Ability to organize and implement strategic repeatable marketing and networking systems to help grow and enhance their practice on an annual basis.

We offer a fee-for-service commission split based on billed revenue.
