Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)WeeCare Pediatric Home Health Care is currently hiring Casual RPN's. If you enjoy working as an independent contractor in a home care environment, this is the job for you!!The shifts are one weekend per month. Shifts are 12 hours and there are three available.Duties
- Administer and document medications as prescribed
- Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
- Maintain child's records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standards
- Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
- Observe and report on changes in child's condition to parent/guardian
- Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
- Demonstrate understanding of child's needs and maximize abilities
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian
- Respond to client/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
- Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child's equipment and belongings
- Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child's safety
- Complete all other tasks as assigned
- Licensed and in good standing with the CNO
- Experience working with pediatrics
- Current BLS certification
- Vulnerable Sector check within the last six months
- Professional liability insurance
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekends only
