Jump Start Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. This role involves working directly with pediatric clients in our clinic located in Brampton, ON. The therapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive therapeutic strategies that support children's physical and cognitive development. The therapist will also benefit from mentorship by an experienced professional in pediatric therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate children's motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
Provide therapeutic interventions including fine motor skills development, sensory integration techniques, and activities of daily living training.
Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes for each child.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current registration and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a clinic setting.
Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage children and build rapport with families.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Additional Information:
This position is permanent part-time or full-time position as an independent contractor. Jump Start Pediatric Therapy offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
