The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) - Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan are seeking a pediatric emergency physician to join their team on a full-time or part-time basis, (0.50FTE up to 1.0FTE). The successful candidate will provide specialist pediatric services in an emergency environment in a tertiary care facility serving Saskatchewan residents. The pediatric emergency physician is responsible for providing all clinical medical services for children attending the Pediatric Emergency Department and teaching trainees. There are opportunities for research with Department of Pediatrics support available. This academic position includes assistant professorship with the University of Saskatchewan.
The Pediatric Emergency Department-Saskatoon is located on the ground floor of the new Jim Pattison Children's Hospital (JPCH). The hospital offers state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for children, mothers and families from across the province. Centrally located on the University of Saskatchewan campus, our new children's hospital offers neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, general pediatrics, pediatric emergency and ambulatory services.
