You will
  • Innovate and brainstorm CI/CD and DevOps strategies to move towards a world class development environment
  • Collaborate with microservice teams on system level testing focused on delivering the best customer experience
  • Co-create and verify advanced traffic models in a customer like operations pipeline
  • Operate pipelines for continuous delivery of microservices and SW packages
  • Work with internal/external organizations and partners
  • Work with product development teams to assist in delivering their content into the pipeline
  • Work with many stakeholders to ensure fast and frequent product delivery to customer field
  • Develop Cloud RAN JCAT/MJE SBT traffic scenarios to ensure system level stability, resilience, capacity, performance, life cycle management, etc.,
  • Develop Cloud RAN JCAT/MJE SBT test automation cases
  • Develop pipelines and utilities for Cloud RAN system behavior tests
  • Work towards continuously improving CI/CD flow
  • Brainstorm and implement innovative ideas that will increase pipeline efficiency and decrease time to deployment via DevOps
  • Brainstorm innovative ideas that will increase pipe
  • Aid in building and operating canary operations pipeline
  • Be responsible for both; content running in the CI/CD pipeline and maintenance of the pipeline
  • Apply AI/ML to continuously learn and build new traffic models running in the pipeline
  • Manage connectivity between CI/CD pipelines and different observability frameworks to assist developers to continuously monitor system behaviour
  • Interfacing and performing system level integration with test tools, such as Viavi/CCN/Moshell
  • Interfacing and performing system level integration with cloud native and open-source tools such as Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana
  • Troubleshooting CI failures caused by JCAT/MJE test code, product bugs or RAN issues.
  • Has competence to trace and analyze 4G/5G signaling and AIR interface protocols

To be successful in the role you must have
  • A bachelors or masters level degree in computer science or electrical engineering
  • Good understanding of test automation development in a Linux environment
  • Good ability to troubleshoot networking issues and connectivity between nodes
  • Expert knowledge of Java and Python programming languages, prior experience working with JCAT/MJE is a huge advantage!
  • Good knowledge of wireless communication systems, lab troubleshooting and test automation technique/tools
  • Expert knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development preferably using Jenkins (or similar)
  • Experience working with Docker and deploying cloud native microservices in Kubernetes using Helm charts is essential
  • Good knowledge of software cycle management tools like Git, Gerrit, etc.,
  • Should be aware of any workflow engines like Spinnaker
  • Able and ready to work according to agile methodologies
  • Experience with multiple programming languages an asset (e.g., C, Matlab, Julia, Java, Python, Perl...)
  • Good understanding of the Linux ecosystem and with Linux kernel
  • Knowledge of cloud-native core principles, DevOps, ADP, microservices, K8S, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, React
