Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an IT Project Control Officer (Agile & JIRA Reporting) and offers an exciting opportunity to support critical project initiatives within a dynamic technology environment. This position involves providing comprehensive project support, ensuring efficient workflow management, and delivering insightful reports to aid leadership decision-making. Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor project schedules and work orders, adjusting priorities based on project requirements, resource availability, and organizational directives.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and project team members to assess progress, identify roadblocks, and determine follow-up actions.
  • Provide administrative support including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Compile and analyze project data to produce progress reports, highlight downtime and bottlenecks, and share insights with stakeholders.
  • Utilize JIRA for comprehensive data extraction, trend analysis (such as story delivery rates and cycle times), and developing EazyBI dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights.
  • Track KPIs, manage intake requests, and support process optimization efforts to improve project efficiency and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and effective communication across all stakeholders.
Desired Skill-Set
  • Proven expertise in JIRA administration and reporting, including data extraction, trend analysis, and dashboard creation using tools like EazyBI.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex tasks, resources, and documentation efficiently.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Prior experience in IT project coordination within financial or enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Proficiency in budget tracking, financial reconciliation, and progress reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement and career development.
Nice to Have
  • Ability to serve as a backup Scrum Master or assume similar leadership responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Figma or Figjam.
  • Experience with enterprise CRM systems and release management processes.
  • Knowledge of financial risk management and operational workflows.
  • Vendor management experience or entrepreneurial background.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field.
