Main Responsibilities:
Major responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Manage all payroll requests/changes
Manage all benefits and RRSP/DPSP contributions
Produce periodic reports for all Workers Compensation Boards
Manage Workforce Now Database maintenance (i.e. vacation rates, benefit rates/employee files/holiday programs, employee residence status, etc.)
Year-end payroll reporting and employee T2200 forms as required
Employee commission calculations
Assist Accounts Receivable in applying incoming payments, follow ups on COD accounts and other related tasks
Assist in general accounting tasks (training will be offered for all accounting tasks)
Collaborate with HR
Main Requirements:
Extensive knowledge and experience with ADP/WFN (in order to move away from comprehensive services), minimum 5 years
Knowledge of basic accounting
Knowledge of payroll legislation in various provinces
Solid communication skills: Bilingualism (French and English: oral and written)
Member of Canadian Payroll Association an asset
Knowledge of SAGE an asset
Person should be responsible, have good problem-solving abilities, honest, and respectful of confidential information
