RWDI is seeking a detail-oriented

Payroll Specialist

to manage payroll processes across Canada and the United States, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role will report to the Leader, Human Resources Systems & Operational Excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Key Accountabilities

Process bi-weekly payroll for employees in Canada and the US. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations. Maintain and update payroll records and reports. Handle payroll tax filings and compliance requirements. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. Stay current with changes in payroll legislation in both countries. Assist with the setup and support for all mergers & acquisitions in North America.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



Qualifications

Proven experience in payroll processing for Canada and the US. Professional Payroll Certification (CPP or PCP) Knowledge of payroll software (e.g., Ceridian Dayforce). Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance standards. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills. Customer-focused, proactive problem-solver with excellent planning and organizational skills. High integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
