Responsibilities



Participate in implementation projects, including analysis, configuration, validation and problem solving.


Maintain subject matter expertise regarding regulations and compliance requirements. This includes staying current with agency updates, association publications, attending compliance training and participating in best practice meetings/seminars

Undertake research to identify legislative updates impacting payroll compliance



Be a "go-to" resource for both internal and external users

Assist Payroll teams with more complex support cases.

Skills and Qualifications



2+ years experience with both Canadian and US Payroll

Strong knowledge of federal/provincial employment laws in Canada

Strong knowledge of federal/state/local employment laws in US

Strong research skills including analysis of information from different sources

A self-directed team player: collaborative, seeks input, accepts and incorporates feedback from others, freely offers assistance

Strong organization, time management and prioritizing skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office products
