Payroll Specialist - Key Responsibilities



Prepare, process, and balance payroll in accordance with internal policies and legal requirements Manage deductions (benefits, RRSP, etc.) Maintain up-to-date employee records in the payroll system (new hires, changes, terminations) Generate payroll reports as required by the organization Prepare termination-related documents: Records of Employment (ROEs), T4s, RL-1s Perform payroll-related accounting tasks: analysis, reconciliations, reporting, communication with government agencies Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, vacation, benefits, etc. Provide administrative support to the Controller and Finance department as needed

Profile Sought



10 to 15 years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in

ADP Workforce Now

(experience with other systems is an asset) Active member of the

Canadian Payroll Association

Fully bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written Experience in a high-volume hiring and termination environment Strong problem-solving and system implementation skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
