Job Description

I am looking for a Payroll Manager for my client, a construction company located in the West Island of Montreal. This is a permanent position, with the possibility of working 4 days a week and 1 day of telecommuting.Your tasks will include:\xc2\xb7 Processing the complete payroll cycle;
\xc2\xb7 Ensuring each employee\'s weekly payroll is accurate and ready within the required deadlines;
\xc2\xb7 Reconciling government remittances and other accounts for the company;
\xc2\xb7 Ensuring compliance with various federal and provincial payroll regulations and staying updated on changes (publications, newsletters, webinars, websites, etc.);
\xc2\xb7 Serving as the reference person for managing exception cases or special payments;
\xc2\xb7 Ensuring compliance with and adherence to internal controls;
\xc2\xb7 Contributing to the preparation of various internal reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy of data;
\xc2\xb7 Performing all other related tasks.Think this job is for you? It might be the case if you have or are:\xc2\xb7 A degree in administration or a related field;
\xc2\xb7 A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in payroll management;
\xc2\xb7 Certification from the Canadian Payroll Association is an asset;
\xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of Canadian payroll standards (Quebec & other provinces);
\xc2\xb7 Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in task execution;
\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of the real estate and construction industry (CCQ) is an asset;
