Job Summary:
The role of Payroll Implementation Advisor t is critical in establishing the initial interaction with a new client/partner. The Implementation experience is the first measurable experience for PSI partners and clients, that sets the tone for the boutique managed services experience PSI Payroll Services Inc. provides daily.
The Payroll Implementation Advisor will work in conjunction with the client/PSI Partner and the Implementation Team and be responsible for leading and supporting the successful implementation into our payroll system for new clients. They will act as the main point of contact during the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition from set up to go-live.
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll software implementation for new clients, from data gathering to final testing and launch.
Analyze client requirements and configure payroll system to meet legislative and organizational needs.
As the payroll SME, you will provide guidance on payroll compliance, taxation, and reporting standards across all Canadian provinces.
Configuration of new client in the payroll software system, ensuring that all relevant data is collected, audited and compliant with current legislation.
Identify, collect, analyze and upload all relevant year to date values if required.
Testing, and validation of a parallel payroll run with the client before participating in the first 'LIVE' payroll processing run.
Troubleshoot setup and configuration issues during testing and post-implementation phases.
Process the client payrolls until such time as it can be seamlessly transitioned to the Operations team.
Assist in the development of streamlined data processes and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Provide feedback to Payroll Implementation Manager on the transition of new customers.
Assist Management in developing audit procedures to ensure accuracy.
Assist in the year end process and perform special tasks as requested by Management.
Skills:
Post-secondary education or equivalent business experience
4 Years payroll processing experience in a multiprovincial payroll environment.
Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and provincial compliance requirements.
Payroll Software Implementation Experience
Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certificate required.
Certified Payroll Management Certificate and relevant work experience (Desired)
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Superior communication and client relationship skills.
Ability to work independently as well as liaise with others.
Previous project management experience.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
