Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Payroll & HR Administrator
to join our Human Resources team. This position plays a central role in ensuring accurate, timely, and confidential payroll processing and maintaining comprehensive HR data. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering weekly payroll, managing employee records, overseeing benefits administration, and supporting core HR operations across a growing workforce of 500+ employees.

, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
Maintain and update employee data within the
ADP HRIS
platform, ensuring data integrity and seamless system functionality.
Coordinate year-end payroll tasks, such as T4s, ROEs, and payroll audits.
Employee Records & Benefits
Maintain comprehensive, organized, and confidential
employee records
, including contracts, policy acknowledgements, certifications, and performance documents.
Administer
employee benefits enrollment
, changes, and terminations; liaise with benefits providers as needed.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in tracking leaves, vacation accruals, and time-off entitlements.
HR Support & Compliance
Provide administrative support across core HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, policy compliance, and documentation.
Track and organize
compliance documents
such as health & safety logs, sweep/temperature records, and JHSC inspection forms.
Support training coordination and employee communications relating to HR programs and initiatives.
Assist with preparation of HR reports and data analysis for decision-making and compliance audits.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in
payroll administration
, with strong working knowledge of
ADP Workforce Now
(mandatory).
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience managing HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate HR and payroll records in a mid-to-large organization (500+ employees).
Solid understanding of Canadian employment standards, payroll regulations, and benefits administration.
High attention to detail, with proven ability to handle confidential data and operate with discretion.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet weekly payroll deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel); comfort with learning new software and systems.
PCP or CHRP designation (or working toward) considered an asset.
