Our Vancouver real estate client is looking to hire a Payroll Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate has work experience in payroll and some operational accounting.
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Processing full-cycle payroll for 50-60 employees in BC (inclusive of salaried employees, hourly employees and contractors)
- Verifying timesheets for hourly employees
- Preparing payroll reconciliations during month-end and year-end, as well as processing T4 and ROE as needed
- Processing employee staff expense claims in accordance with regulations
- Working with the team to track and prepare commission reports and disbursements
- Handling additional accounting duties as required
Requirements:
The ideal Payroll Coordinator has a post-secondary education and comes with 2-3 years of work experience processing full-cycle payroll. The ideal individual is someone with a friendly personality, dedicated work ethics, and excellent verbal and written communication to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
