Reporting to the Director, Payroll, the primary focus of the Payroll Coordinator is to administer accurate, efficient and timely payroll execution for employees across Canada Goose within our corporate, retail and manufacturing teams. The Payroll Coordinator will execute payroll for high volume teams across multiple locations in countries around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter, process and balance the bi-weekly payroll earnings and adjustments
  • Process high volume payroll information including but not limited to master file changes, earnings, department, leaves, new hire set up and terminations
  • Process and balance payroll expenses, deductions and adjustments
  • Provide a timely response from inquiries from Finance, HR, managers and employees
  • Investigate and rectify payroll related challenges with issues, systems and tools
  • Create and maintain accurate payroll records and mail correspondences for immediate access
  • Responsible for the distribution of all pay statements, ROEs and forms as required
  • Provide support for project work and other duties as required
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in full cycle payroll processing
  • Experience with time and attendance tracking reports and systems
  • Experience with high volume payroll processing (1000+ employees)
  • Post-secondary education with a focus on Business Administration or Human Resources preferred
  • National Payroll Institute (former Canadian Payroll Association)- PCP designation is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment law, payroll legislation and accounting principles
  • Experience with and or working knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce is an asset
  • Experience with unionized and or manufacturing payroll environment will have an advantage
  • Experience working with multiple Province payroll is an asset but not required
