Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join the dynamic, fast-growing team at one of our clients in the Manufacturing industry! This role consists of supporting the Payroll department in a variety of responsibilities, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should have strong communication skills so to effectively correspond between teams, like the internal team and outside customers. This position would suit candidates best that enjoy being challenged and are looking to grow their career.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Administer instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

- Collect and enter data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Configure custom reports

- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

- Expertise in Ceridian and/or ADP software

- Microsoft Excel experience desired

- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

- 2+ years of previous payroll experience
