Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join the dynamic, fast-growing team at one of our clients in the Healthcare industry! The tasks in this role will include supporting the Payroll department in a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should be experienced in communicating between various teams, such as the internal team and outside customers. This employment opportunity will be on a long-term contract / temporary basis.

How you will make an impact

- Construct and run custom reports

- Process payroll for union and non-union employees, salaried and hourly

- Correspond with employees via email and phone to garner approvals on timesheets

- Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Administer instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

- Build a system of administering and distributing reports

- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Previous payroll experience

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

- Full Cycle Payroll experience desired

- Union payroll experience

- Ability to easily learn new systems

- Efficient in Payroll software
