Responsibilities:
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Payroll Processing
Calculate and process payroll deductions.
Reporting and Monitoring:
Monitor financial transactions and report any irregularities.
Handling Confidential Information:
Safeguard sensitive financial and employee data.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
Compliance with Labour Laws:
Stay up-to-date with labour laws
Track expenses and process expense reports.
Prepares remittances of all applicable employment-related taxes paid to government agencies (CPP, EI, payroll taxes, EHT, etc.) and payments to insurance companies for group benefits.
Responsible for AR function including preparation of invoices for billing, processing cash receipts and follow-up of outstanding amounts
Prepare and ensure timely processing of Accounts Payable invoices, checkes and payment runs.
Maintain the subledger for all cost centres by posting and recording journal entries.
Support the Senior Manager Development Accounting in preparing the cash call and funding request package and reconciliation when required
invoicing & change orders against the approved budget aligned with anticipated cost report
Manage monthly and annual journal entry accruals by communicating with the trades, subtrades, construction manager
