We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst to join our finance and human resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across various platforms. Duties
Process payroll using systems such as Workday, ADP, UltiPro, Kronos, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or other HRIS platforms
Ensure accurate data entry related to employee hours, wages, deductions, and benefits
Reconcile accounts related to payroll transactions and maintain detailed records for audit purposes
Manage accounts payable and receivable related to payroll expenses
Conduct account reconciliation to verify payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Assist with bookkeeping tasks related to payroll and human resources functions
Prepare reports on payroll data analysis for management review
Support HR functions by providing relevant payroll information for audits or inquiries
Qualifications
Proven experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Ceridian or similar HRIS platforms
Strong knowledge of accounting software including QuickBooks or equivalent tools
Familiarity with accounting principles related to accounts payable/receivable and account reconciliation
Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical skills to interpret payroll data and generate insightful reports
Background in human resources or related fields preferred
Experience with bookkeeping and general ledger management is a plus
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and maintain compliance with applicable regulations
