At Bridgeway Connection Services, a non-profit growing at record speed, we're looking for a Payroll & 0ystems Administrator who thrives in detail, precision, and process improvement. This isn't just about running payroll, it's about designing scalable systems, ensuring compliance, and building trust through accuracy and transparency.

go-to expert

for payroll and benefits, the one who ensures every employee gets paid correctly and on time. You'll

build and optimize systems

that can keep up with the pace of a growing nonprofit. You'll work closely with HR and Finance, creating controls and processes that stand up to audits and funder requirements. You'll help shape the backbone of employee trust by keeping payroll accurate, compliant, and confidential.

What You'll Be Doing



Payroll Process Development:

Design payroll procedures and controls for 200+ employees, ensuring accuracy, audit readiness, and risk reduction.

Payroll Administration & Compliance:

Process bi-weekly payroll with ?98% accuracy, manage adjustments, and file all CRA/WCB/statutory remittances on time.

Systems Optimization:

Maintain and optimize HRIS/payroll systems, ensuring clean data, integrations with HR/Finance, and user-friendly self-service tools.

Reporting & Analytics:

Provide reports and dashboards that track payroll costs, overtime, and funding allocations.

Employee Support:

Respond to payroll/benefit inquiries with accuracy and professionalism, building confidence and trust across the organization.

What We're Looking For



Diploma or degree in

Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resources

. 3-5 years of progressive payroll experience, preferably in a medium or large organization. Strong knowledge of

Alberta Employment Standards, CRA payroll legislation, pension regulations, and WCB requirements

.

Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)

designation required;

Certified Payroll Manager (CPM)

preferred. Experience implementing or maintaining

HRIS/payroll systems

. Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with an eye for accuracy and improvement. High integrity, confidentiality, and a customer-service mindset. Nonprofit experience considered an asset.

Pay: $58,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
