Job Summary
Chief Isaac Group is seeking a Payroll & Accounting Clerk to support financial operations by processing payroll, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and experience in payroll processing and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing:
Accurately process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Assist in processing invoices, payments, and tracking outstanding balances.
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial reports.
Data Entry:
Input and reconcile financial transactions in accounting software.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure payroll and accounting procedures comply with financial regulations and company policies.
Employee Support:
Address payroll inquiries and provide assistance regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
Bank Reconciliations:
Assist with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.
General Administration:
Support the finance team with additional accounting duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
Previous experience in payroll processing, bookkeeping, or accounting.
Education:
Diploma or certification in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Attention to Detail:
Strong accuracy in data entry, calculations, and financial records.
Confidentiality:
Ability to handle sensitive payroll and financial information with discretion.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
