The Bank is speeding up the evolution of its banking solutions in an ecosystem of real-time data that is event-driven and based on business APIs. The Domain Architect will therefore be a key player in this transformation.

Your role:

• Compile the strategy, business issues, and operational reality to transpose these aspects into multichannel, multi-business line solutions and propose strategies to support the completion of activities
• Develop and maintain business capability mapping for investments, in collaboration with business lines and data governance
• Maintain the target architecture and roadmap for the transformation of technology ecosystemsa,
• Provide project support while ensuring that the solutions implemented comply with Open Architecture guidelines and the Bank's architecture standards.
• Identify potential relationships and synergies between various projects
• Validate the functional and technical aspects of solution to ensure the Bank's business needs and standards are met
• Ensure the sound evolution of the applications portfolio: obsolescence, technical debt, simplification of the overall IT ecosystem
• Monitor and keep abreast of business and IT trends and best practices
• Act as a resource person and offer expertise and advice to stakeholders

• Completed bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or completed master's degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience as an enterprise Architect or a Senior Architect delivering several major projects in a large company
• In-depth knowledge of concepts, technology, and solutions related to a modern digital ecosystem (e.g.: Microservices, API, streaming, security, elasticity, PaaS, Cloud SaaS, DevOps, etc.)
• An understanding of the application of architecture in a cloud computing context. AWS Cloud Architect certification is an asset
• Natural leader, influencer, innovator, and communicator
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills. and the ability to explain complex concepts
• Innovative and capable of rethinking/redefining working methods
• Political skills and ability to influence senior management
• Ability to communicate in Frencha,
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (for dealing with English-speaking partners outside Quebec)
