The Opportunity:

The main responsibility of the Payables Accountant is to process invoices for payment in our EnterpriseOne Financial System along with researching and booking cash receipts and completing journal entries. The successful candidate will work on a busy and rewarding team with interactions with suppliers, as well as many different business areas within Canadian Natural, to ensure the most efficient processing of supplier invoices.

5 x 2, 8-hour shifts

Key Accountabilities:

Process invoices for payment in EnterpriseOne Verify General Ledger coding and supplier information in EnterpriseOne Validate GST, PST, HST and withholding taxes Validate invoice totals and supporting documentation Monitor vendor updates (legal name changes, address changes & amalgamations) Validate proper approvals per our Grants of Authority policy Handle supplier inquiries, correcting journal entries and account reconciliations Process cash receipts in EnterpriseOne Project work as assigned

What You Bring to the Role:

Knowledge of oil and gas accounting is preferred Post-Secondary education in Accounting Knowledge in Data Processing, Excel, and EnterpriseOne (asset) + You will demonstrate effective communication, organizational and team work skills
