With locations in Victoria and Nanaimo we are better suited than most companies to serve parking lot and road project needs all over Vancouver Island. About the Opportunity This position will involve every aspect of road marking such as pavement markings for roads and highways, airports and parking lots, as well as sporting courts, playgrounds and more, all over Vancouver Island. No experience necessary although Priority will be given to People with: \xc2\xb7 Past work in the field of line painting \xc2\xb7 Personal Drive and a strong work ethic \xc2\xb7 Proven experience in trades and construction \xc2\xb7 Mechanical or "hands on" technical experience \xc2\xb7 Tickets in First Aid and or Traffic Control \xc2\xb7 Experience in driving Larger Vehicles such as cube vans Although we strive to create a fair work/life balance the very nature of our work sometimes makes certain situations unavoidable. Our typical work weeks can be up to 60 hours during the summer months, with lots of night work and a great deal of travel. If you are wanting a 9 to 5, be home for dinner, 40hr work week type of job, this may not be the job for you. Salary: $27 to start COVID-19 considerations and protocols: We request that all Fineline Employees to be fully Vaccinated against Covid-19. We also provide sanitizer and masks for each vehicle. Travel is restricted to 2 employees per vehicle (with new employees being asked to mask up in shared spaces for 5 days after hiring). We Have adopted a \xe2\x80\x9cstay home\xe2\x80\x9d policy for any employee experiencing the mildest of symptoms as well as honouring the 5 day paid sick leave recently introduced by our provincial government.
