JOB DUTIES:

Learn to operate pavement marking equipment such as hand painters, sweepers, milling machines, and paint truck equipment. Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to the job site Lift, carry, load and unload construction items including pavement marking supplies, etc. Taking measurements, and recording information Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Class 5 license. Clean driving abstract and at least 3 years driving experience. Strong desire to learn, and contribute. Basic reading/writing ability to comply with road signs, complete paperwork, and knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Must be able to receive, understand, and communicate specific instructions Must be able to work out of town for long periods of time. Operating line painting machines (Graco LineLazer 3400/3900/5900 or similar) Laying out, measuring, and painting parking stalls, arrows, and other symbols Applying paint and glass beads according to MTO and municipal standards Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of striping equipment Assisting with traffic control and site preparation Ensuring job quality, efficiency, and safety compliance At least 1 year experience of line striping equipment
