Patternmaker

Qualification

:

Must have experience working with PATTERNSMITH program Must have a thorough understanding of patternmaking either from experience or schooling as a tailor, draftsperson or other applicable field Must have good English communication skills Must have strong high school math and trigonometry Must have intermediate computer skills Preferred experience using an industrial sewing machine Preferred basic understanding of industrial sewing methods Ability to learn new skills and quickly adapt to changing design requirements

Responsibilities

Draft or modify various patterns from field measurements, including: simple repetitive designs, complex multi-layered patterns, 3D enclosures in 2D Communicate effectively with team to refine individual designs Interpret simple piping schematics Calculate square footage of product in each design Use creativity to tackle multi layer, multi component designs May operate and maintain CAM plotter and other CAM machines May arrange and consolidate plotted design pieces
