Seeking Physicians for Permanent or Locum Pathologist Opportunities

Earning Potential: $263,672 to $285,596

Hours of Work: 80 hours biweekly, plus on-call obligations

Benefits: An annual Retention bonus and Pathology bonus is offered in accordance with the current MOA.

Location:

Western Health, situated on the scenic west coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, is seeking the services of a salaried Anatomical Pathologist for Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of anatomic pathology, cytopathology and autopsy services.

Western Memorial Regional Hospital is a 171-bed regional referral center for Western Newfoundland and provides services to a population base of approximately 78,000 people. They are affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador Faculty of Medicine and they encourage and support academic interests.

Education and experience:

Medical Degree with specialist training in Anatomical Pathology

Have Royal College Certification or Eligibility

Have MCCQE1 exam OR a complete set of USMLE\'s

Must be eligible for registration and license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Skills required: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, laboratory staff and medical professionals are essential.
