Boulangerie La Vendeenne Incorporee is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our
day shift pastry production team
. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced bakery environment where you will play a key role in preparing our signature pastries and supporting the night baking team.
Key Duties:
Mixing ingredients and preparing dough
Making pastries such as tarts, almond croissants, quiche, and petite dejeuner
Preparing items for night bakers
Loading the proofer and organizing supplies
Creating weekly supply lists
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Work Environment:
Busy and fast-paced bakery setting
Temperatures may vary from cold to hot depending on the area and task
Requirements:
Ability to work efficiently and follow directions
Neat, tidy clothing and hair tied up at all times
Non-slip shoes are required
No jewelry (including wedding/engagement rings), piercings, artificial nails, or long/painted nails permitted
Reliability and attention to detail
