We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and baked goods that meet our high standards of quality and taste.
Duties
Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and precision to enhance presentation.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of desserts.
Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
Package finished products for display or sale while ensuring quality standards are met.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting.
Strong skills in food preparation, baking techniques, and cake decorating are essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
