Duties

Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and confections with precision and artistry Handle food preparation tasks including mixing, baking, assembling, and finishing baked goods Ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in all aspects of food handling and kitchen operations Assist in inventory management by organizing ingredients and supplies efficiently Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry recipes and seasonal offerings Provide excellent customer service by explaining menu items and accommodating special requests when needed

Qualifications

Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts Skilled in baking techniques, knife skills, and culinary arts specific to pastries and confections Experience in food handling, safety protocols, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a kitchen environment Previous restaurant or catering experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
