Tasks and Responsibilities
The Pastry Chef will work in a fast-paced bakery with a focus on butter tart production, ensuring products meet quality standards and that recipes are developed and consistently meet customer demand. Responsibilities include:
Baking butter tarts ALL BY HAND with precision and consistency
Preparing, packaging, and presenting butter tarts for sale and distribution
Managing production schedules to meet daily and weekly targets
Maintaining quality control throughout the baking process
Managing inventory and ordering ingredients specifically for butter tart production
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
Keeping the kitchen and baking equipment clean and well-maintained
Collaborating with other kitchen staff to support bakery operations
Meeting production projections and expectations related to butter tart sales
Giving a daily report of butter tart production
