Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
Oversee all aspects of food service, including menu development, ingredient sourcing, and cooking techniques
Manage food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
Train and mentor team members in culinary skills, safety protocols, and customer service excellence
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
Ensure consistent quality of dishes served to guests, adhering to established recipes and standards
Uphold leadership in fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professionalism
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or as a head chef with supervising responsibilities
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and guests
Experience in hospitality or the food industry is highly preferred
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and menu planning
