Our program is rooted in nature-based learning, with the majority of our days spent outdoors. We believe children thrive when given the opportunity to explore, play, and grow in natural settings.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated

Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

to join our team.

Position:

Full-Time Early Childhood Educator

Location:

Sorrento, British Columbia

Start Date:

November 1st, 2025

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities for children, both outdoors and indoors Foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing outdoor classroom environment Provide individualized care and attention to meet the unique needs of each child Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support a cohesive and enriching learning experience Ensure a consistently safe, clean, and organized learning environment Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding their child's development and daily experiences Follow all licensing regulations and health and safety protocols

Qualifications & Experience

Valid

Early Childhood Education (ECE)

certification Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices Excellent communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Demonstrated leadership and classroom management skills A genuine passion for nature, outdoor education, and play-based learning

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
