Together, we will continue to grow and ensure our sustainability, now and into the future.\xe2\x80\x9d *_~ Groupe Samsic: Leader des services aux entreprises en Europe et dans le monde \xc2\xb7 Responsible for Passenger Check in, Boarding & Baggage Services. \xc2\xb7 Liaise with Airline customers \xc2\xb7 Fanatical emphasis on Quality Services \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate a Safety-First attitude \xc2\xb7 Create good housekeeping practices in the workplace \xc2\xb7 Inspect and verify passenger documentation \xc2\xb7 Checks passenger baggage and places bag tags on them at the ticket counter for appropriate destination \xc2\xb7 Handles customer complaints regarding ticketing and baggage handling when problems arise. (i.e., lost baggage, lost/misplaced tickets, canceled flights or delayed flights) \xc2\xb7 Make announcements regarding flight activity at gate or over airport\xe2\x80\x99s general PA system \xc2\xb7 Answers passenger inquiries regarding flight schedules, fares, space availability for a particular flight and other questions that may arise Requirements & Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in the aviation industry or in a similar role is preferred. \xc2\xb7 Ability to lift 50 lbs independently \xc2\xb7 Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. \xc2\xb7 Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. \xc2\xb7 Highly motivated and able to work well independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. \xc2\xb7 Able to multi-task and establish priorities in a dynamic and changing environment. \xc2\xb7 Must always maintain a professional appearance and mannerisms. \xc2\xb7 Able to work collaboratively as a productive member of the Samsic Airport Team. \xc2\xb7 Able to obtain a Restricted Area Identification ID Pass (RAIC). \xc2\xb7 Must successfully complete the Passenger Service Agent initial training course in accordance with airline standards. \xc2\xb7 Always maintains the highest level of service expectations of both the passenger and the airline customer. \xc2\xb7 Comply with all federal, provincial, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements. \xc2\xb7 First Aid, CPR an asset. \xc2\xb7 Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills. \xc2\xb7 Professional, punctual, meticulous, and diligent. \xc2\xb7 English language required. \xc2\xb7 Must be 18 years of age.
