Under the direction of the Slot Technician Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, major overhauls, repairs, and modifications to various casino assets (slot machines, ticket kiosks, cage equipment, parking equipment, & shuffle master machines), as well as other assigned duties. Must be collaborative, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Contributes to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Motivates, leads by example and provides a learning environment. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities
Maintains and repairs slot/video machines and associated progressive meters on gaming floor
Responsible for mechanical and electrical repairs at the circuit board level
Maintains and repairs gaming-related units such as automated card shufflers, Cage equipment (currency counters), Park and Pay, and HERMES printing machine
Complies with pre-determined internal controls and procedures
Complies with safety and security standards
Performs machine installations, moves and conversions along with ensuring that such activities are properly documented to comply with regulatory and internal requirements
Assists in lifting slot machines and other equipment on a regular basis
Is familiar with design, repair and maintenance standards for all Electronic and Slot Games
Troubleshoots electronic issues
Performs other duties as required
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications
Must have an Electronics Diploma or have previously worked as a Slot Technician
If not already licensed as a Slot Technician, must obtain a passing grade on the Slot Technician final exam upon completion of both the Slot Service Representative & Slot Technician training courses (provided onsite).
Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Knowledge of slot operating systems preferred
Possesses strong troubleshooting, organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
Requires working knowledge of computer software packages and the ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment
Must have a professional attitude, strong interpersonal skills and be a proven team player
Detailed oriented and Excellent problem solving skills
Must have open availability (days/evenings/nights/weekdays/weekends)
