We are currently seeking a
part-time team member
, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role in the future, to join our growing company.
This position will be based at our Stratford location.
About the Role
This position involves both customer service and sales support, as well as mobility product sales. It requires a balance of hands-on technical skill, client interaction, and administrative competency. The successful candidate will support walk-in customers, medical professionals, and our internal team while assisting with mobility product sales throughout Perth, Huron, and Oxford Counties.
Experience in home health care and mobility products, including manual and power wheelchairs, rollator walkers, cushions, and seating and positioning components, is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Spire Systems is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Retail Support
Greet walk-in customers and assist with selecting products or rentals
Answer telephone inquiries and process orders
Provide product knowledge and advice on home health equipment
Prepare invoices, sales agreements, and rental documentation
Assist with displaying and organizing merchandise
Complete brace and compression fittings as required
Follow tasks and direction provided by the Office Manager
Mobility Sales & Clinical Support
Manage mobility equipment sales within Perth, Huron, and Oxford Counties
Work with hospitals, long-term care homes, and community clients
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists
Complete quotations and orders for mobility products, including researching components and calculating pricing
Prepare work orders and setup instructions for wheelchair assembly
Coordinate with the Technician on equipment adjustments, repairs, and installations
Ensure timely ordering, receipt, and delivery of mobility products
Handle billing through government programs (such as ADP) and directly to clients
Qualifications
Experience with home health care and mobility equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, seating systems, etc.)
Understanding of wheelchair components, cushions, and seating and positioning products
OTA/PTA qualification is an asset
Knowledge of the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) is beneficial
Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with your hands and learn technical equipment setup
Computer proficiency; Spire Systems experience is a strong asset
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage administrative tasks
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Patience, empathy, and a client-centered mindset
