We are looking for a personable, self-motivated and reliable individual to host and maintain an atmosphere of calmness and relaxation at our center. Our Front Desk staff is the face of Art of Sauna and is responsible for:
Greeting visitors and employees courteously and cater to their special requests, needs and complaints.
Welcome and greet guests and provide information about the facilities, services, and promotions
Providing a positive first and last impression of our spa guests
Complete opening or closing duties for AOS.
Spa administration will include, but is not limited to: the preparation of treatment schedules, confirmation of guest appointments, managing a cash float, settling daily accounts, processing retail sales, etc.
Manage guest records including recording important guest information such as special occasions, requests, injuries, and allergies, as required.
Manage telephone reservations, respond to telephone and email inquiries, booking appointments for guests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Complete the initial spa consultation, Inform guests of Spa facilities available for access before and after their treatment as well as communicate the cancellation policy to guests.
Successfully promote and sell all available services, products, and therapies
Monitor, control, and receive stock.
Ensure the Spa lounge and lobby area are maintained to impeccable standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene
Communicate any pertinent information to Colleagues and Management, as required
Interact with guests to maintain close contact, actively seeking feedback regarding the guest experience, treatments, and services offered at the spa with the goal to build business through positive relationships with guests
Maintain excellent knowledge of all treatments and products provided in the spa
Ensure compliance with all spa policies, programs, and core practices
Undertake other and related responsibilities, as required.
Education and experience
At least 2-year experience as a receptionist
At least 1-year of experience in customer service.
Great customer service.
Proficient in Excel and Word
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work a variety of shifts - evenings and weekends
Experience in a busy Spa, Sauna, or private Pool environment is an asset.
Skincare products and knowledge is an asset.
Handle situations with minimal supervision.
Fluent in English
