Fanshawe College is seeking interested and qualified professionals to teach courses in the Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) Program within the School of Health Sciences.


Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Health Sciences, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the MRT program and developing an effective learning environment for students.


The successful candidates will be required to teach one or more of the following courses, but not limited to:


RADL-1001 Radiographic Procedures 1 RADL-1014 Diagnostic Imaging RADL-1024 Patient Management RADL-3001 Radiographic Procedures 2 RADL-3017 Patient Care & Communication
Program Overview and Courses: Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) Program


General Qualifications:



Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success Excellent communicator Strong interpersonal skills Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery is an asset Proven ability to work in a team environment Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets

Specific Qualifications:



Advanced Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology required Post-secondary 4-year relevant Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 3-5 years of recent and relevant work experience in a digital imaging department preferred Registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Active membership with CAMRT preferred
