Fanshawe College is seeking interested and qualified professionals to teach part-time in the Massage Therapy (MSG) Program in the School of Health Sciences.

Duties

: Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Health Sciences, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the MSG program and developing an effective learning environment for students.

General Qualifications

:


Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success Excellent communicator Strong interpersonal skills Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required Experience in formal teaching positions (i.e. Clinical instructors, teaching assistants, classroom leadership, etc.) an asset Proven ability to work in a team environment Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets

Specific Qualifications

:


Must be a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario Minimum 5 years of recent RMT practical work experience An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
