Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA)
program and are seeking passionate and dynamic professionals to join our founding academic team.
As one of our early hires, you will not just assist in teaching -- you will help
build our teaching systems, content frameworks, and job-readiness models from the ground up

Key Responsibilities
A. Student Engagement & Classroom Support
Conduct
live interactive online sessions
, group discussions (GD), and one-on-one mentoring with students.
Assist the lead instructor in delivering ECEA course content, ensuring sessions are engaging and interactive.
Support students in understanding concepts through clarifications, additional learning resources, and personalized guidance.
B. Curriculum Development & Academic Support
Collaborate with the program lead to
design and refine course materials, lesson plans, and learning activities
.
Contribute to the creation and updating of assignments, projects, and evaluation rubrics.
Grade assignments, provide constructive feedback, and ensure timely return of results.
Assist in
developing simulation-based learning experiences
to prepare students for real-world scenarios in childcare settings.
C. Job-Readiness & Career Development
Work closely with the academic and placement team to
develop and implement job-readiness models
, including resume-building, interview preparation, and workplace skills training.
Organize mock interviews, professional development workshops, and portfolio reviews.
Liaise with industry partners to understand current hiring trends and incorporate them into training models.
D. Academic Administration & System Building
Assist in building operational systems and academic processes for the program's smooth functioning.
Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and academic performance data.
Participate in internal quality audits and program reviews.
Provide feedback on operational and academic improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
Diploma/Degree in
Early Childhood Education
,
Child Development
,
Education
, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in
online teaching platforms
and digital tools (Zoom, BigBlueButton(BBB), Google Workspace, LMS systems).
Ability to engage and motivate adult learners in a classroom and online environment.
Preferred
Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) membership (or eligibility).
Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring in an educational setting.
Experience in
curriculum development
and assessment design.
Prior work in the
ECEA field
or childcare industry.
