Critical Success Factors:

Loading, unloading and general warehouse work Record movement of stock in and out of the work area Supply documents and reports as required Ensure proper rotation of product Equipment checks for malfunctions and proper sanitation and taking appropriate corrective action Ensuring compliance with GMP, Food Safety, SOPs, OHSA and other pertinent policies, procedures and legislation Supporting health and safety programs Perform any other duties as required

Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset Previous experience working with powered equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc) Physically able to lift >20 kg and frequently push or pull >70 kg with frequent lifting and bending Must be able to perform physical job demands Knowledge of plant and equipment operations Ability to identify, problem solve and research alternatives within the scope of the job Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team based environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Available for weekend overtime as production demands require Must be responsible, self-motivated, and reliable Duties may be reassigned due to sickness, vacation, compensation or absenteeism Shifts will change with proper notice
